Why SHR?
SHR, or Super Hair Removal, is a laser hair removal treatment that targets and destroys hair follicles using pulsed laser light, the most advanced form of laser hair removal available. By absorbing laser light energy, the pigment in the hair shaft heats up and damages the follicle, preventing future hair growth.
How does SHR Laser Hair Removal feel?
A painless and comfortable treatment is made possible by the use of SHR technology which filters out unnecessary wavelengths. The most common description is that it feels like taking a warm bath or shaving.
Is SHR Laser Hair Removal suitable for everyone?
A major advantage of the SHR hair removal treatment is its suitability for everyone, regardless of age, skin type, or colour.
How many treatments will SHR Laser Hair Removal require?
The visible results will vary depending on the type of skin, hair, hormones, and hair cycle. We recommend 2 to 4 weekly treatments for the first 6-12 months to achieve optimum results. Typically, clients see noticeable results after 4-6 sessions, such as slow hair growth, finer hair growth, or patchy hair growth. Touch-ups should be performed after a 6-12 month course in order to achieve the best results.
How soon will I see results from SHR Laser Hair Removal?
After laser hair removal, you should start seeing hair fall out after approximately 1-3weeks. Laser hair removal only damages hair that is actively growing. Despite the fact that hair will appear thinner and less noticeable after just one treatment, optimal results will require multiple appointments.
During pregnancy, can SHR Laser Hair Removal be permitted?
It is strictly forbidden to undergo SHR Laser Hair Removal treatments until 3 month spost-pregnancy &/3 months post-breastfeeding, both for safety reasons.
Does the treatment permanently remove hair?
In spite of the fact that SHR hair removal is not permanent, the treatment does have a long-term effect. However, a hormonal change, such as starting or stopping contraceptive pills, becoming pregnant, going through menopause, changing your medication, or being under a lot of stress, may trigger new hair growth.
Aftercare Instructions
  • Redness & Bumps are normal.
The treatment area may be red and bumpy immediately after your treatment; these can last for a couple of hours or longer. In case of persistent sensitivity, apply a cold compress.
  • Cleanse the area treated gently.
After treatment, wash the area gently with a mild soap. During the first 48hours, do not rub or scratch the skin
  • Dead hairs will begin to shed 5-30 days after your treatment.
Stubble, representing dead hair being shed from the hair follicle, will appear within 5-30 days from the treatment date. that is normal & they will fall out quickly.
  • Avoid the sun
Avoid sun exposure for two months to prevent dark or light spots. Keep your skin protected by sunscreen (SPF 25 or higher) throughout treatment and for1-2 months afterward
  • Do not pick/scratch/wax/thread/tweeze the area.
In order to achieve the best results, you must refrain from using any other hair removal method or product on the treated area except shaving.
To summarise, try to avoid the following:
  • Strenuous exercise or stretching
  • Saunas, pools, and hot showers
  • Extensive sun exposure or sun tanning
  • Skin exfoliation
  • Wearing deodorant or antiperspirant with scents
  • Scratch or rub the treated area
How long does the procedure take?
Based on the type of design chosen, the procedure can take 90 minutes to 180minutes. Touch up sessions can last as long as 30 minutes.
Is it bad/harmful to have eyelash extensions?
When properly applied, eyelash extensions do not damage natural eyelashes. They should be carefully selected (length and thickness) and applied sequentially to one natural eyelash at a time.
What do I need to do before my appointment?
Ideally, come to your lash appointment without mascara or make-up. Lashes must be clean for the adhesive to bond properly and last longer.
How can I make my eyelash extensions last longer?
After your appointment, wait at least four hours before getting your extensions wet. Do not rub your eyes vigorously or tug at your lashes. Do not use makeup removers that contain oil. Wash your eyes with water when cleansing and wipe them with a tissue after showering to keep them dry.
Is it still okay to wear makeup/mascara?
We do not recommend wearing mascara since it is very difficult to remove from the extensions without pulling at your natural eyelashes. Please use oil-free cosmetics when removing makeup close to the eye area while you still have eyelash extensions on.
Will I lose my own lashes?
The extensions will not fall out as long as you refrain from tugging at them or rubbing your eyes.
What is the best way to remove eyelash extensions?
As it may hurt your own lashes if you attempt to remove the extensions yourself, it is best to schedule an appointment for us to remove them professionally, using special removing solvents. Alternatively, you can wait for the extensions to fall off naturally. Waxing FAQs
Why is wax important?
Waxing is one of the most effective methods of removing unwanted hair. Waxing removes hair from the roots, not just from the surface of the skin. As time passes, hair in waxed areas will appear lighter, sparser, or not grow back at all. As compared to the rest, WaxXXX methods are less painful. You will notice slower hair growth and finer hair regrowth, resulting in smoother, brighter skin. Get the extra boost of confidence you need today
How long will the results last?
It is typical for waxing appointments to be scheduled every four weeks. If this is your first waxing experience, you can expect your results to last between 3 and 6 weeks, with minimal growth after your appointment, depending on how quickly your hair grows. In the event that you become regularly waxing, you will notice a noticeable improvement in the longevity of your results.
Do waxings cause hair to regrow thicker?
This is a total myth. It has actually been proven that waxing actually stops hair growth altogether in some cases. The slowing or stopping of hair growth takes many years of consistent waxing, so waxing is meant to be used as a temporary method of hair removal.
Is waxing safe for those with sensitive skin?
Those with sensitive skin can greatly benefit from waxing if it is done correctly. Compared to other hair removal methods, e.g. shaving, it is much gentler on the skin. Please follow the instructions in both the pre-waxing and post-waxing guides carefully if you have sensitive skin.
What is the difference between apres nail extensions and half tip extensions?
You can get long nails with Aprés nail extensions in a safe, healthy way without sacrificing the health of your nails underneath. It covers your entire nail bed, allowing your nails to grow naturally and less likely to be damaged. Compared to Aprés nail extensions, half tip nail extensions offer less coverage, so they're easier to apply and blend.
Do you provide other types of nail extensions?
Yes, we offer polygel and acrylic extensions. Call us for more information.
What does your classic nail services include?
Clipping, shaping, buffing, and treating your dry skin and cuticles are all part of the classic treatment. Our pedicure services include foot exfoliation and scrubbing.
Is Gel Polish Bad for Your Nails?
There is no evidence that gel polish will harm your nails. In fact, it can help protect your natural nails from the elements. However, excessive filing and peeling off of the gel polish are the main causes of damage. Hence, choosing a good nail technician and getting your gelish removed properly is crucial.
How well are your nail tools sterilised?
Well, hygiene is very important to us, and we sanitize all tools and run them through the UV sterilizer to kill off all bacterias before we individually package them for our next client.
